Staying at Damon’s place was an amazing experience! The house was exactly like the photos, no surprises, which is always a great sign. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a truly restful stay. Communication was a highlight: Damon responded to messages super quickly, including when we had a small issue with the lock, he handled it promptly and with so much care, which makes all the difference when you’re traveling away from home. Highly recommend! If I’m ever back in Houston, I’ll definitely be staying here again. 🌟
This place was cozy and convenient to downtown lounges and restaurants less than 15 mins. Host was very responsive.
Lo bueno: queda a menos de 10 minutos del centro médico (fuimos a Houston por una cita médica). Lo malo: Antes de reservar pregunté al anfitrión si había lavadora y secadora y me aseguraron que sí, pero al llegar no estaban esos equipos, lo cual nos causó problemas porque fuimos con poco equipaje confiando en la oferta. Nos sentimos engañados. Cuando reclamé, nos ofrecieron buscarnos otra ubicación pero después dijeron que no había. Además les explicamos que necesitábamos quedarnos cerca de los hospitales. El departamento se ofrece para 4 o 5 personas, sin embargo solo hay dos sillas para comer en el mesón. Éramos 4 y dos teníamos que comer de pie o hacer turnos lo cual fue muy inconveniente e incómodo. El departamento está a una cuadra de un bar donde hay música alta y escándalos de gente, carros y patrullas con sirenas. No permite un descanso adecuado. Nunca había tenido una mala experiencia en Airbnb. Es la primera vez que un lugar no cumple con lo ofrecido.
